“$10 Bootleg”
This is an experiment on how we value the dollar. This $10 bill was minted through OpenSea.io on 5/24/22 and sold for 0.0056 ETH, at selling time it was $9.70 USD. Every second the value rises and falls with the exchange rates. When the time comes to cash out, what will this $10 bill be worth?
REAL VALUE
A $10 bill is valued at $10 by adhering to a strict code. But what if the worth were to suddenly change? What matters more, the eye of the beholder or ink on paper?
Trust IN PHYSICAL v. DIGITAL
A physical of the NFT was mailed to the buyer. Since the $10 has not been destroyed, it can still be redeemed for $10 USD. Is this insurance or a lack of trust?
